This month we sat down with our Head of Drinks, Hannah Duffy Russo to find out what her favourite wine is for August. Hannah was one of the key players who curated our wine list and is a big wine lover, so we were very excited to hear what she had to recommend…

Of course, she didn’t stick to the rule of her one favourite, Hannah has opted for two of our fantastic rosés so you can enjoy them back-to-back; Sierra Cantabria XF and José Luis Ripa Sáenz de Navarrete (we call it Ripa for short).

 

Sierra Cantabria XF from Rioja Alavesa is a Garnacha-based blend of 4 varieties including white varieties Viura and Sauvignon Blanc, bursting with blackberries, raspberries and even a touch of watermelon.

 

Ripa is a Garnacha and Tempranillo blend and it’s bold and brilliantly bonkers with a mix of rosé and orange colour and complex savoury notes and a touch of apple and spice.
